Good times to get these done

Holes filled, sealant redone, loose fittings fixed and scuffs painted over.

  • Before you move out, or before new tenants move in.
  • After taking down shelves, pictures or an old TV bracket.
  • When the bath or shower sealant has gone grey or come away.
  • Before photos for a sale or a rental listing.

How the job usually goes

  1. Step 1: List everything

Small repairs are quicker in a batch. Add every little thing, room by room.

  2. Step 2: Share photos

A photo of each repair, and the paint tin label if you still have it.

  3. Step 3: Prepare properly

Filling, sanding and cleaning first, so the finish sits flat.

  4. Step 4: Finish and tidy

Paint or sealant applied, edges cut in neatly, dust sheets lifted.

Good to know. We do not do gas, electrical or plumbing installation. Gas work must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and new wiring needs a qualified electrician. Wide or growing cracks and damp patches are worth a surveyor’s opinion before any filling.

★★★★★Sample review

“Filled every hole from the old shelves, touched up the hallway and refitted a loose skirting board. The flat looked ready to let.”

Will a touch-up match the rest of the wall?

If you still have the original tin, a patch usually blends. Without it, painting the wall from corner to corner gives a cleaner result than trying to match by eye.

Can you fix cracks in the ceiling or walls?

Hairline cracks in plaster, yes. Wide cracks, cracks that keep coming back or ones with a step in them need looking at by a surveyor first.

How long before I can use the bath after resealing?

It depends on the sealant, so check the tube. Many need around a day before they get wet. We will leave a note of the time.

Do you do end of tenancy repairs?

Yes. Filling, touch-ups and small fixes before a move are a common list. Send photos room by room and we will price the whole list.

The Little Job Co. is a fictional business, so there is no phone number to call. On a real site this button would ring the business. You can still try the enquiry form: it shows how a list of jobs would be sent, without sending anything.
